Shield Debate: Aegis vs Unholy Aegis

I'm playing support priest and currently have +7 Aegis for myself. But I see many players (which are old players here) use Unholy Aegis instead. But when I compare the stats, I don't understand the hype. Please someone, explain me why Unholy is better than the normal Aegis.

• Unholy gives some HP and has more native defence but it has less anti-weapon def, specially dagger. And lacks club defence completely and has arrow defence instead (archers don't hit much anyway but styx is more annoying than their damage, so i don't care).
• Resistance bonuses are about the same but Aegis has 30 Poison resist, which is said to be important in this server even some assasins are using WE+1 just for this reason.
• Unholy has Repel Physical Attack: 15 -- I think this is the most important feature of this shield but when melee attacks me it means i'm already stuck between them and the fact that my shield will hit them back won't really matter as I'm about to die soon anyway 

So... waiting for your comments why sould one choose Unholy over Aegis.

Hello, thankyou for creating a topic about these shields! Im also abit lost at the moment cuz there are more shields then back of old days .

I would like to test those shields on arena + the upgraded cs and garges cuz i got some info that unholy aegis is broken somehow, pm me ingame if have any of those shields and can help me on testing em

Yo Biatch, anyone let you test their shield so far? I'm also curious as noone cared enough to share any info on this nice and the most friendliest(!) community.
