Your comment is judgmental and criticizes how players choose to play the game, which is not your business. Why we PK, why we farm, or why we spend time running around Moradon is not something we owe anyone an explanation for. Saying “let’s say I have a lot of time” or “let’s say I enjoy this” is a perfectly valid reason. If I spend hours, even days, working for this advantage, it’s because I do it purely for the enjoyment I get in return. Everyone is free to play the game however they want.

It is. Have you ever tested how many hours it actually takes to farm 10K Abyss Gems? Let me break it down with real numbers. If you farm 24/7 with no interruptions, it takes about 3 days (72 hours) to reach 10K Abyss Gems. Realistically, since nonstop farming isn’t possible, it ends up taking around a full week to farm 10K. The drop rate for Large Cakes is 2.5%–2.7%. That means from 10K Abyss Gems, you only get around 250–270 Large Cakes. On top of that, exchanging 10K Abyss Gems takes roughly 40 hours if done nonstop. In reality, this process stretches to another 12-14 days. So in total: * Up to 2 weeks of farming * Up to 12-14 days of exchanging Which is basically impossible to sustain. At best, a player can realistically farm and exchange about 500–640 Large Cakes per month. Yes, it’s that hard. And this is the topic we’re actually arguing about.

I can see that the administrator is evaluating this request due to pressure and is even considering taking action based on it. This approach is completely wrong. The idea of being influenced by such guidance and considering a fix for something that has existed since the very foundation of the game, and that is used by only 1 or 2 players for a very limited amount of time, not even adding up to 3 to 5 minutes per week, is genuinely concerning. While only 1 or 2 players actually put in the effort for this, the activity itself is something anyone can do and freely use if they are willing to invest the time. The complaints are coming from people who are simply too lazy to do it themselves. This is nothing but nonsense.

Players choose to merchant and exchange their Merchant Tokens, and the rewards they receive contribute to their in-game progression. This is the core purpose of the merchant system and has long been one of the game’s fundamental mechanics. Given that we are aware of past instances where you personally engaged in real abuses and did not report any of them, it is not possible to take your approach or recommendations seriously. This attitude is not constructive. For this reason, it is impossible to consider this view consistent or sincere. The situation speaks for itself.

There is absolutely no basis to categorize these items as an abuse of game mechanics. They are standard in-game assets, no different from Abyss Wings, Abyss Eyes, Acid Potions, or Holy Water Potions. These items are a core part of the game and are accessible to everyone. Any player who wishes to utilize them can invest the time to farm and exchange them. Choosing not to participate in that process is a personal gameplay preference, not a flaw or an exploit in the game’s design. Delos items have been an integral part of Knight Online since the very beginning. They have existed in USKO since 2004 and even earlier in KoreKO. They function today exactly as they have for the past two decades. This is not a new mechanic, nor is it something recently introduced or modified. It is an established system with over twenty years of history. Furthermore, these items are not easy to obtain. The drop rate is low, and both the farming and exchange processes require significant time and effort. This investment alone makes it clear that these items are not being "abused" or used without a cost. Every player has the exact same opportunity to obtain and use them under the same conditions. Similar examples, such as Abyss Eyes, Abyss Wings, Acid Potions, and Holy Water Pots, have existed for years without ever being labeled as abuse. It is also important to look at the scale of use. How many people are actually farming these items? How many players truly have them in their inventory? These items are consumed within minutes, yet they take hours to obtain. Currently, we only see a couple of players actually using them. Given how rare and extremely difficult they are to farm and exchange, it is hard to understand how this could possibly negatively affect anyone else's gameplay. The high cost and effort involved naturally limit their presence in the game, further proving that there is no widespread issue or abuse occurring. The only actual issue here is a minor error in the item description. Currently, the tooltip shows 200, but it should be corrected to 800 to match the official version, as it has been since 2004. @nikos32 Fixing this text will remove any confusion and provide full clarity for the players. Beyond this simple correction, everything is working exactly as intended. There is no exploitation, no unfair advantage, and nothing that justifies a complaint. The current update could be improved further. However, if the main goal is to reduce the gap between players and ensure that the existing game meta is completed, the update makes sense in its current form. With that in mind, here are a few suggestions that could improve long term balance and player motivation without disrupting this approach. Currently, Butterfly Wings are required when crafting Wings of War. It may be better to remove this requirement from the Wings of War upgrade and instead require Butterfly Wings when crafting the next tier, Phoenix Wings +1. This way, the value of Butterfly Wings would be preserved while keeping progression balanced. Regarding rune upgrades, for each armor tier the bonus increases by +2 up to V and then by +3 from V to XIV. There may also be an additional +1 MP, STR, DEX, INT, and Health for each tier between VIII and XIV, but even without this a 20M coin cost is still relatively cheap and makes this achievement easy to obtain. Even if the upgrade cost remains low, such as 20M coins, it could be just increased to 1 Gold Bar, together with additional materials like 50 Merchant Token 3, 100 PK Stones, 10 Essences of each type, 50 Braveries, 3 FT BDW LNS Coupons, and 10 Blue Shards. This would increase the value of these materials, keep the Moradon market active, encourage farming, and reduce long term stockpiles. The main concern is that players who have been on the server since the beginning have been able to complete no more than five Valkyrie +8 sets, meaning around 25 to 28 pieces at most, and currently have no clear progression target. Adding a new achievement would give them a long term goal and make progression feel rewarding again. To maintain balance and avoid widening the gap between old and new players, the Valkyrie Armor Selling NPC in Moradon could remain available for a longer period, especially since many veteran players have hundreds of Gold Bars with no effective way to spend them. Overall, if the intention is to have players complete the current game meta first through NPC sold Valkyrie armor and ROF obtainable via NPC gambling, this approach is understandable and reasonable.

In the Castle Siege War event, the clan that owns and defends the castle is not required to open the castle gates when moving outside the walls for defensive purposes. They can exit by jumping over the castle walls. Therefore, even if the gates are not opened or closed, this does not disrupt the game flow or balance. For this reason, removing the defending clan’s ability to open and close the gates would be a healthy and beneficial change, as it would prevent potential alliances from being allowed inside the castle by opening the gates. @nikos32

20m is too cheap for runes. It should be higher and follow a progressive pricing system, such as 20m → 50m → 100m → 150m → 200m → 300m → 500m. As long as Beginner Items non-upgradeable & non-tradeable, Wings of War is a better option for this stage of the server.

Hello @nikos32 @GM_Knight The player using the nickname “RevengeOfGayToR” is making insulting remarks toward the ToR clan and also using derogatory and offensive language against gay people. This behavior is discriminatory and negatively affects the community. I kindly request that this account be reviewed and appropriate action be taken. https://professionalko.com/?page=char&id=revengeofgaytor https://ibb.co/LdbshFpr Thank you.
